DayOf operates a managed marketplace for client entertainment around conferences. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use dayof.travel, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
2. What we collect
- Reach-out form:name, email, the conference you’re attending, target dates, budget band, and the details you share in the message.
- Booking information: once we are coordinating a booking on your behalf, additional information such as group size, dietary or access requirements, billing contact, and payment details handled by our payment processor.
- Communications: the emails and messages you exchange with our planners.
- Usage data: standard analytics about how the site is used (pages viewed, referrer, device, approximate location), so we can improve the Service.
3. How we use it
- Respond to your reach-out and put a planner on the inquiry.
- Curate the catalog, source quotes from vetted operators, and book and coordinate your experience on your behalf.
- Send booking confirmations and operational communications.
- Improve the catalog, the site, and our planning process.
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to deliver the Service:
- Operators: the venue, restaurant, or operator providing the experience receives the information they need to host you (lead name, group size, timing, special requests).
- Service providers: infrastructure, payments, email, and analytics vendors that process data on our behalf under contract.
- Legal: if required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
5. Where data is stored
DayOf is based in the United States and we process and store data in the U.S. If you contact us from outside the U.S., you consent to that processing.
6. Retention
We keep reach-out and booking information for as long as we reasonably need it to provide and improve the Service, and to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those obligations.
7. Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Email contact@dayof.travel and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
