Capilano Suspension Bridge

About this experience

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park invites you to experience nature from multiple perspectives: the iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge, the Treetops Adventure high in the mid-story of a coastal rainforest, and the Cliffwalk along a granite cliff with glass platforms and cantilevered bridges. The 450-foot bridge rises about 230 feet, a Vancouver landmark welcoming visitors since 1889, with interactive exhibits and interpretive signage that share history, Indigenous culture, and nature-focused insights for every level of curiosity. Engagement stations throughout the park offer talks on Historical, Indigenous, and Nature themes, while seasonal musical entertainment adds to the atmosphere. Discover the world’s largest private collection of totem poles, showcasing Coast Salish, Haida, Tsimsian and Tlingit art, with on-site carving in Kia'palano. The 110-year-old Trading Post Gift Store preserves a vintage mercantile vibe for Canadian keepsakes. Seasonal events like Raptors Ridge (June–October) and Canyon Lights (December–January) enrich the year-round experience. Treetops Adventure invites guests from ages 2 to 92 to traverse seven suspension bridges high in the trees, while Cliffwalk guides you along a granite precipice with a labyrinth of narrow cantilevered bridges, stairs, and glass platforms—two dramatic views of the rainforest and Capilano River. Admission includes all three experiences and round-trip transportation from downtown on the Capilano Free Shuttle.
