- Is the catalog really free?
- Yes. Browsing, booking, and paying for what you book is free, and stays free. It's not a trial. The software is the only thing you ever pay a fee for.
- What counts as an event?
- One event goes live when you send invitations or publish its page. Drafts don't count, and headcount doesn't matter, a 10-person dinner and a 150-person reception each count once.
- I booked through DayOf. Does that use one of my free events?
- The software is optional for every event, including ones we book. Run it on an event and it counts; skip it and it doesn't. Your first 2 are free, and on Annual Booking Commitment the software is unlimited.
- What if we run more events than our tier?
- Upgrade any time and pay just the difference.
- Is Platform priced per seat?
- No. One flat price covers your whole team.
- What's included in a booking price?
- Everything for the event: the venue or experience, food and drink, staff, and coordination. You see one all-in price before you book, and it's what you pay.
- How do we pay for a booking?
- Every package shows its deposit up front. The deposit locks your date and is applied toward your total. Final payment timing follows the venue's own policy.
- Are deposits refundable?
- No. Deposits aren't refundable, and we generally pass through the venue's own deposit policy. Headcount can change up until final payment is due, and your remaining balance adjusts to match.
- Can we cancel or move a booking?
- Cancellation terms vary by venue and are specified at the time of booking.
- What does an Annual Booking Commitment change?
- Platform is included, at no additional cost, and unlimited for as long as the commitment runs. You commit to $100K or more a year in bookings through DayOf, and the rates on those bookings are discounted.
- What are reps and viewers?
- Reps are teammates you give limited access so their guests get handled; viewers can see events without editing. Every plan includes as many as you need.
